Concert flutist Tami Krausz was born in Israel to a family of artists, philosophers and linguists. While completing her bachelor's degree in Tel Aviv music academy and having worked with Zubin Mehta and the young Israeli philharmonic, Tami had been exposed to Early Music and had received the NUFFIC scholarship form the Dutch government to continue her Masters in The Hague conservatoire. Upon graduation Cum laude under prof. Barthold Kuijken, Tami launched a performing career as principal flutist and soloist with some of the finest ensembles and conductors in Europe, among them: L'orchestre des Champs Elyse'es (Philippe Herreweghe), Le Concert de la loge (Julien Chauvin ) Le Cercle de l'harmonie (Jeremie Rohrer), Amstrdam Baroque Orchestra (Toon Koopman), Holland Baroque, B'rock (Ren'e Jacobs) Capella Augustina (Andreas Sperring), Capriccio Stravagante and the Polish Orkiestra Historyczna

Chamber music collaborations include Soprano Sandrine Piau, Soprano Claron McFadden, Contra tenor Philippe Jaroussky, Pianist Alexander Melnikov and violinist Julien Chauvin.

Her recent CD recording for Rame'e records of works by Beethoven and Kuhlau with pianist Shuann Chai is warmly received by the music press. Tami enjoys making drawing-sketches of her colleagues and nature scenery-drawings during rehearsals and on concert tours. "The Green Concerts" is Tami's most recent initiative, bringing high quality early music-theater acts to local music and art loving crowds in non-conventional green spaces.
